Cooper is back at home again with oils, only this time, in a contemporary setting.
Twenty years ago, while in the Church Choir, dressed in heavy robes and high in the loft, being pretty warm and still, she composed these compositions mostly to stay awake. Although, she doesn’t have to draw to stay awake, any more, but old habits are hard to break. Later realizing she had a wealth of drawings to be painted. These paintings will set you on your heels, with interesting, surrealistic subjects, mixing Geometric (influenced by Al Held) and Organic styles, with an incredible blast of color.
